Helldivers 2 is a sequel to the 2015 top-down shooter Helldivers, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
In Helldivers 2, players are tasked with stopping invading forces- Terminids and Automatons. The Terminids are more straightforward to defeat but will give you a hard time if you don't bring the correct weapon and stratagems. Best Loadouts to Defeat Terminids
Terminids are the first enemy group you'll fight in Helldivers 2. Various Terminid Strains have distinct traits such as Armor, Mobility and Bile. You'll encounter different Terminid Strains on Lower to Higher-difficulty planets.
Low-Level Loadout to Use Against Terminids
You'll start your journey for Liberty in Helldivers 2 by fighting against the Terminids. Using the correct starting loadout will save you time and make it easier for your fellow Helldivers. Here's the best loadout to use for Low-level Terminids:

The best weapons to use against Terminids for low-level Helldivers are the AR-23 Liberator and P-19 Redeemer. The AR-23 Liberator is a primary weapon with a moderate fire rate but excellent damage output if you hit your shots. On the other hand, the G-12 High Explosive is essential for closing Bug Holes and destroying different Bug outposts.

The Orbital Precision Strike is an essential stratagem for taking out Bug Nests and killing large Terminid Strains. To add more firepower, the Eagle Cluster Bomb is an excellent choice for efficiently eliminating hordes of Bugs. Finally, the Gatling Sentry is a must-pick Stratagem against the Terminds thanks to its damage output and inhuman fire rate.
High-Level Loadout to Use Against Terminids
With difficulty levels increasing, Terminids become more challenging to defeat. They set up stationary and dynamic patrols throughout the mission area. Moreover, they will initiate Bug Breach randomly, making your time in the combat area more tedious. So, if you're going against Terminids on difficulty levels above Challenging, here are the best loadouts you should consider using:

The best weapons against Terminids for high-level Helldivers are the SG-225 Breaker and P-19 Redeemer. The SG-225 Breaker is one of the strongest Shotguns in the game and is very effective against most Armored Enemy Classes. As usual, the G-12 High Explosive is essential for closing Bug Holes and destroying Bug Nests.

Moving on to the Stratagems for high-level Terminids, you'll need to use the Railgun as your Support Weapon. You'll face more massive Terminid Strains at higher difficulties, such as the Chargers and Bile Spewers, alongside the usual Bugs and Stalkers. To go hay on the Terminids, we recommend putting the Rail Gun in unsafe mode at your own risk.
Now, for the rest of the stratagems, you will need the Orbital Laser and Autocannon Sentry to deal with automated damage from different angles. And to end everything with a bang, the Eagle 500KG Bomb is a must-pick. Throw it at a Terminid populated area and run in the opposite direction.
We recommend using Heavy Armor specifically with Extra Padding for low-level and high-level loadouts. The Terminids are a hivemind and will hone in on your location once a larger Terminid identifies you. A friendly reminder for all Helldivers - Try to communicate with your fellow Helldivers before using your Stratagems; if your teammates keep getting caught in the crossfire, you'll run out of Reinforce stratagems before extraction.
