Just a couple of hours after the official announcement of Dragon's Dogma 2 gameplay showcase, a release date for Capcom's highly-anticipated action RPG has surfaced on the PEGI website, who gave Dragon's Dogma 2 an 18 rating.
Dragon's Dogma 2 release date, according to the official PEGI website, is set for March 22, 2024, and as previously confirmed by the publisher, the game is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Keep in mind that this is yet to be officially announced by Capcom but it's very likely that the developer confirm this date at the upcoming showcase. Until then, take it with a grain of salt, even though PEGI listings are very reliable.
Given that Capcom have already revealed a lot of Dragon's Dogma 2 footage and details so far and will have more showcases in the coming months, it's not surprising that the release date is coming soon.
March 2024 certainly looks like a great window as there are no major releases confirmed to be launching at that timeframe. February on the other hand is pretty packed with releases including Helldivers 2 from Sony.
Obviously, there's always a chance that the game gets delayed by a couple of months as that's been somewhat of a tradition during this gen, as a lot of big AAA games get regularly delayed.
All in all, we are certainly excited to see more of Dragon's Dogma 2 later this month and finally play it when it launches in early 2024.
