Publisher NCSoft have revealed a new gameplay demo for their upcoming interactive adventure shooter currently codenamed Project M.
The new trailer gives us a first look at a gorgeously designed Theme Park which got abandoned and it's crawling with zombie-like creatures.
We also got to see some combat and a short battle against a big zombie. The trailer ends by showing us the game's day and night cycle as the Theme Park goes from a dark flashy night to a sunny midday.
The game obviously looks terrific - it's packed with detail and has stunning visual fidelity. It uses Unreal Engine 5, which allows the devs to have a large number of polygons on screen and also implement lightning features like Lumen Global Illumination and reflections.
Sadly, we did not get additional information about the game. NCsoft are still quiet regarding the release date but we know that the game is coming to PC and unconfirmed consoles.
It's safe to assume that this one is still a couple of years away. Hopefully, we get some official details tomorrow, when NCsoft have scheduled an interview with the dev team.
In case you are not familiar with Project M, it's one of the several projects that Korean publisher NCsoft have in development. The company promises high-quality graphics, realistic expressions and unprecedented immersion.
Judging by the gameplay that we've seen, it's a genre mashup consisting of shooting, adventure elements and interactive sequences where players have to make hard decisions.
It's one to keep an eye on as it looks like a proper blockbuster and we are certainly eager to learn more about the story and the setting.
