Capcom has released a big new patch for Dragon's Dogma 2 to improve the game's visuals and overall gaming experience for those playing on the PS5 Pro, as well as to fix a variety of smaller issues that have been plaguing players across all platforms.
Considering the company has been rather diligent in making monthly tweaks and additions to the open-world action RPG, their latest patch adds options to the graphical settings for PS5 Pro players, in addition to general improvements.
The current addition of the PS5 Pro support comes with the addition of a new "Balanced" setting available under the Graphics menu. That allows for enabling/disabling of quality toggles, which will reduce or enhance the output based on smoothness or quality desired during gameplay.
Secondly, an option for PSSR-probabilistic screen space reflection-further enhances reflective surfaces and increased environmental detail within gameplay on PS5 Pro.
Apart from graphical changes, the latest patch does a lot to deal with in-game bugs that players had been flagging since the game's release.
This includes the tweaking of the character creator so that minor catches with customization are worked out and even the tweaking of Pawns-the player-friendly AI-controlled companions fighting around one's side.
Navigation has also been improved, with updates to the minimap for easier and more accurate tracking as players head through the game.
Available for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Dragon's Dogma 2 has been really going great and is still considered one of the most hot topics in the world of role-playing games.
The latest announcement was last month, in May; they stated that the number of copies sold worldwide went past 3 million.
All of this continued support on all of these updates shows that to them, it really matters to have a nice and enjoyable experience for each and every player on the individual platform.
