Capcom has revealed their plans for an upcoming Dragon's Dogma 2 patch on their X account, aimed at fixing various problems and making important improvements.

Reduction in Dragonsplage Frequency
One of the most critical changes in the planned update is reducing the frequency of dragonsplague infection. This disease, which can be transmitted among pawns, has caused substantial problems for many players. Capcom also intends to make the signs of infected pawns more visible, like enhancing the prominence of their glowing eyes.
Improvements to Pawn's Behaviour and Dialogue
The patch will also introduce changes to pawns' behavior and dialogue. This includes addressing problems where players couldn't high-five their pawns, pawns failed to start guiding, and reducing the chances of pawns accidentally falling off cliffs.
Moreover, the frequency of certain pawn dialogue lines will be decreased, and the content of their lines will be enhanced to better fit the context of the game
Bug Fixes and Quality of Life Enhancements
Capcom also intends to address various bugs and implement quality-of-life improvements. Players will no longer be jailed for battling monsters in town, and escort quests won't fail if players access Character Edit.
The patch will also add the ability to zoom in on the faces of the Arisen and pawns in the status screen and shops, providing players with more detailed views of their characters.
Even with the extensive list of planned changes, some players are disappointed that the patch doesn't appear to address the performance issues that have affected the game since its launch. Many have been hoping for a performance mode or other optimisations to improve the frame rate and overall game performance.
Though the update may not address every concern in Dragon's Dogma 2 right now, it will still add significant improvements to the game and enhance the gaming experience for players and fans.
