Spirit of the North 2, a direct sequel to the very interesting Spirit of the North from 2019, is a cute little adventure that manages to elevate everything that was good with the first game on a whole new level.
Playing as a fox, you'll explore the Northern Lands in search of the great Fox Guardian, and this adventure, although very calming and cute, will give you a challenge from time to time, only to remind you that, in order to do something, you'll have to still do a bit of hard work.
The first obstacle in our fox friend's adventure that will make his blood boil is a big white raven located inside the Great Library that you'll need to defeat to progress further through this level. If this segment of the game is giving you trouble, here is a guide to help you succeed in your endeavour.
How to beat Raven Guardian
Upon reaching the Great Library, you'll see a huge white raven who will, without a single warning, go haywire and start attacking you. The first step is to use one of the wind vortexes to reach the upper level of the arena. Once you're there, go to the left and spot a small lever next to the window that looks towards the arena—there are several of those spots, but you'll aim to reach the one with a wind vortex hole that is currently inactive.
Position yourself behind the lever and wait for the raven to attack you—do not be afraid; it cannot reach you here. Once he attacks, either with his legs or head, quickly pull the lever to trap him. Remember, you'll have to trap him three times: once by the leg and twice by the head.
If you trap the head, approach it and spot the arrow in its neck. Press the square button and start pulling it out. Once you do that, immediately go to the wind vortex that is now activated and go to the next level.
Wait for the raven to do his thing, and until he reaches another level too, repeat the process; if you trap the head again, the next arrow will be in his right wing, and if you trap the leg, the arrow is just there, in his leg.
Extract the arrow and go up again. Once you take out the third arrow, the cutscene will commence, meaning the fight is over. All you have to do now is to jump down from the wooden platform and finish the quest.
