The Threadspun Town side quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong will wait for you once you reach the Bellhart area for the first time. Here is a full walkthrough of this lengthy side quest.

The side quests in Hollow Knight: Silksong, the newest action-adventure from Team Cherry, are designed in the form of so-called wishes you'll have the opportunity to fulfil for many NPCs, while some of them will be pinned on the specific boards.

However, some side quests are designed in a more, let's say, traditional manner, and one such side quest is The Threadspun Town, a side quest you'll get as soon as you set foot inside Bellhart, a small town filled with bugs hanging by the silk threads.

This side quest is a lengthy one, for sure, and will require you to find two separate skills and fight one optional boss, but the rewards it brings will definitely be worth all the trouble. If you want to know how to wrap up this side quest, here is a complete walkthrough.

After facing the hanging bugs, make your way to the left, and you'll come to the area called Shellwood. The optimal strategy is to acquire the maps for those two areas first, and luckily, Shakra is very close to sell them to you. Just follow the path all the way to the left; you'll have to do a lot of platforming on the way, and also, you'll activate one bench and a lift shortcut, but at the end of the left path, you'll reach her.

After acquiring the maps, continue going left, and in the next room, go up, climbing the white flowers. This platforming section is very difficult, so make sure to practise the white flowers platforming first. If you don't know how this platforming works, check out our guide here.

After climbing the white flowers section, keep going to the right until you reach the lift: this lift is a shortcut to the bench, so make sure to activate it before proceeding. Going to the right from the lift, then climbing up some platforms and then going to the left, will bring you to some more white flowers. After passing those, you'll come across the Sister Splinter boss. Here is our guide on how to beat it without too much trouble.

Once the boss is beaten, continue to the left, passing some more white flowers and some new annoying enemies, but eventually, you'll reach the next room where you'll have to climb to the top and then continue to the right; you'll know you're on the right track when you see three white flowers you'll have to pass over. Enter the next room, and there, you'll find the Cling Grip skill. This skill will allow you to stick to the walls and will be the requirement to proceed in this quest.

Now, head to the right, climbing the walls with the newly acquired ability, and you'll reach the place where you fought the previous boss. Where you climbed the three platforms just before the boss arena, you'll be able to climb a wall with the Cling Grip skill. Do it and reach the place with the bell walls. Break three bell walls and get to the next, previously unreachable area.

Keep breaking the walls, but mind the huge bell enemies; they are not aggressive but will get in your way. If you go to the tunnel on the left, you'll be able to unlock the shortcut to the bench. Our suggestion is to do so because the boss that follows can be very tricky, and you'll probably die several times in this fight.

Keep going down, breaking walls and sliding down the walls until you reach the room with an NPC you'll be able to speak with. This NPC is called Widow, and she is responsible for the curse, so you're going to have to defeat her. This fight has two phases, but not like the other bosses earlier—once you kill her once, she will fight you again, but in the second phase, she will be way more dangerous and aggressive than before.

Once you beat her, you'll get the skill called Needolin, which will let you lift the curse from Bellhart and give you access to some previously inaccessible areas. All that is left in this quest to be done with it is an extended platforming section over disappearing platforms, and once you do it, the cutscene will mark the end of the quest, after which you'll ring the bell and finish this very long side quest.
