A unique mechanic created for this realm is the appearance of an eye with a time gauge on the screen when you enter it. Once the metre is full and the eye turns red, you'll need to run away urgently because a special red creature will pursue you, capable of almost instantly killing you.

How to kill the red Umbral creature
The red Umbral creature isn't categorised as a boss or a mini-boss, but it unquestionably stands out as the most perilous enemy in the entire game. Its purpose is to instill a sense of urgency and unease when you spend too much time in the Umbral realm.
To kill this creature, you must pinpoint the optimal location to engage it. Eliminating this entity proves highly advantageous, as it rewards you with a substantial amount of Vigor and five Umbral Scourings, a crucial material required for acquiring boss weapons.
Essentially, your objective is to bait the creature into an attack, causing it to miss the platform and fall into the abyss. The most favourable location for executing this tactic is the scaffolding in the Pilgrim's Perch area. While several spots are suitable for this manoeuvre, we recommend one in close proximity to the Bellroom vestige. Spend sufficient time in the Umbral, venture onto the platform defended by the helmeted enemy with spikes, and when the red entity emerges, trick it to fall into the chasm. After eliminating a red entity, there is a three-minute waiting period before the creature respawns. By employing this strategy repeatedly, you can swiftly amass a substantial quantity of upgrade materials.
