Even though he is not as intimidating as the Trapper or Cannibal, the Ghostface stays popular in the community due to his overall fun playstyle. This is the ideal perk loadout to bring when playing him.

Dead by Daylight has ensured to have all of the classic killers for survivors to enjoy. From the Cannibal to Michael Myers and Amanda Young, Behaviour has been collecting licensed killers like infinity stones.

The next killer to join Dead by Daylight comes from the iconic movie franchise, Scream. His name is the Ghostface and he joins the Pig and Myers as the third killer with a primary power being stealth.

No Way Out

Once the exit gates have been powered No Way Out activates and any survivor that interacts with an exit gate switch will trigger a loud noise that will notify the killer and the gates will be blocked off for 12 seconds per stack. Stacks are gained from hooking survivors.

No Way Out rewards players who hook different survivors and avoid tunnelling by giving them an extended endgame by blocking off the exit gates for a certain amount of time. This is exactly what the Ghostface needs due to his weak early game.

Barbecue and Chilli

The most meta perk currently in the game is Barbecue and Chilli. Barbecue and Chilli is the Cannibal's perk that grants aura-reading abilities once the killer is 40 metres away from a survivor.

This perk synergises well with the Ghostface because it gives him a direction in which he is supposed to sneak in order to ambush survivors and get a lead over them.

Lethal Pursuer

At the start of the trial, the killer can see all of the auras of all the survivors for 7/8/9 seconds.

The Ghostface does not need to instantly get into a chase but him being able to sneak up and get some shroud going will give him a great advantage in midgame.

Sloppy Butcher

Basic attacks cause survivors to suffer from the bleeding and mangled status effects. The bleeding frequency of injured Survivors is increased by 100%, leaving bigger blood pools behind them. Sloppy Butcher increases the regression rate at which partial healing progression is lost because of Haemorrhage by 25%. Both status effects are removed once the survivor is fully healed.

Due to the Ghostface not being too mobile, he needs to keep the survivors down at one hit away from being injured and Sloppy Butcher helps him with that.

Add-ons

The ideal add-ons for the Ghostface are Drop-Leg Knife Sheath (Increased movement speed after marking a survivor) and Olsen's Wallet (Night Shroud refreshed after breaking a surface).
