The realm of Dead by Daylight echoes with the arrival of the Mastermind, a figure renowned as Wesker from Resident Evil. As the second killer from the franchise to join this sinister landscape, Whesker ushers in a reign of calculated chaos.

The Mastermind, better known as Wesker, had been introduced by Behaviour as the second killer from Resident Evil to join Dead by Daylight. With him came the iconic Ada Wong, taking on the role of a survivor.

Wesker's ability boils down to dashes that inflict survivors with a status effect that over time makes them exposed and haemorrhaged. To avoid that, survivors must cleanse with the green spray bottles many might recognize from the Resident Evil games. The spray bottles can be found scattered around the map and every bottle has 2 usages.

Perk Loadout

Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance

At the start of the trial, 4 random hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks, their aura is visible to the killer. The killer starts the trial with 4 tokens, each time a survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook for the first time, 1 token is consumed and the generator with the most progression explodes and instantly regresses by 25% of its maximum possible progression. All survivors that were repairing that generator will scream, but their location will not be revealed.

The meta perk allows the Wesker to create an idea of where he is supposed to go after a successful chase.

Pop Goes the Weasel

After hooking a survivor, Pop Goes the Weasel activates and damaging a generator will instantly regress it by -30% of its current progression.

This gives Wesker additional gen pressure he might lose during extended chases.

Discordance

Any generator within a range of 128 metres that is being repaired by 2 or more survivors is marked by a yellow aura. When the Generator is first highlighted, Discordance triggers a loud noise notification on the generator. After the Generator is no longer within range or is being repaired by just 1 Survivor, the highlighted aura will linger for another 4 seconds.

This perk allows Wesker to use his ability more efficiently and slow the survivors down considerably by making them look for spray bottles.

Thrilling Tremors

After picking up a survivor, all generators not currently being repaired by Survivors are blocked by the Entity for the next 16 seconds. The auras of the blocked generators are highlighted to the killer in white.

This perk will allow him to slow down gen progress even further.

Add-ons

The best add-ons for the Artist are Egg (Gold) (Virulent Bound increased) and Loose Crank (increased   movement speed).
