Dead by Daylight: The ideal loadout for the Legion

The Legion is one of the few killers in Dead by Daylight that follows the physique of a normal survivor. Without any deformities or a massive body, the Legion relies on its speed and knife to catch everyone who enters its territory.

The Legion raised many questions among the Dead by Daylight community, mainly how can 4 people be one killer. This question was brought up because the Legion, even though being just one physical person, can host 4 different personalities, 2 male and 2 female.

Behaviour have equipped the Legion with a special power known as the Frenzy, during which the Legion goes on a "killing spree" where they cannot put survivors into the dying state unless all survivors have been slashed once.

Survivors who had been slashed suffer from the deep wound effect. In other words, if they don't mend, they get downed. Playing around the necessary mending is the best path the Legion can take.

Jolt

When the killer puts a survivor into the dying state with a basic attack, all generators within 32 metres of the killer instantly explode and start regressing.

Jolt has a high chance of activating relatively often due to the survivors choosing not to heal most of the time when playing against the Legion, giving the Legion a higher chance of injuring the survivors before even getting into a proper chase.

Hex: Ruin

Whenever a generator is not being repaired by a survivor, it will immediately and automatically regress its repair progress at 100% of the normal regression speed. Once any Survivor is killed by any means, Hex: Ruin deactivates and reverts its Hex Totem into a Dull Totem. All effects of the Hex Perk persist until its Hex totem is cleansed or blessed.

Ruin is a strong early-game perk that gives the Legion unbelievable generator control, especially since the Legion can apply a lot of pressure onto the survivors right at the start

Surveillance

Every regressing generator is highlighted in white and if the regression is stopped, the generator is highlighted in yellow for 16 seconds.

Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance

At the start of the trial, 4 random hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks, their aura is visible to the killer. The killer starts the trial with 4 tokens, each time a survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook for the first time, 1 token is consumed and the generator with the most progression explodes and instantly regresses by 25% of its maximum possible progression. All survivors that were repairing that generator will scream, but their location will not be revealed.

In case Ruin gets cleansed or once Ruin deactivates, Pain Resonance will continue applying generator pressure.

Add-ons

The ideal add-ons for the Legion are The Legion Pin (Those who mend themselves will suffer from the broken status effect) and Scratched Rulet (Reduced power recovery).
