- Twelve new user icons were added that commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. series.
- Nintendo Switch Online was added to the HOME Menu. This is the one-stop place for all things Nintendo Switch online, where members can easily access their member services and check their membership status, catch up on the latest Nintendo Switch Online news, and more.
- Owners of multiple Switch consoles will be glad to hear that Nintendo Switch Online members can now use the Save Data Cloud feature to automatically download backed-up save data onto another Switch system.
- The Trending games feature has been added to the user pages, where you can check out which games are popular among your friends.
- Screenshots and gameplay videos taken with the capture button can now be quickly sent to your compatible smart device, and it's easier to send them from the Album too with a QR Code. Screenshots and gameplay videos can now easily be transferred to a computer via USB cable.
- One of the most requested features is finally here, and it's the ability to choose which software you want to download first when you want to download multiple software titles.
