League of Legends has undergone significant changes since Patch 13.10's midseason update, resulting in various issues arising. Many items have fallen short of Riot's expectations, leading to imbalances. For instance, Zeri's synergy with Trinity Force has made her overly powerful in professional play, particularly when paired with Yuumi.
Another unconventional build has emerged, where LeBlanc heavily relies on Statikk Shiv to deal excessive damage. Consequently, Riot is facing a considerable task of addressing these imbalances through balance updates.
The game's items and other systems have remained unbalanced for an extended period. The midseason update introduced a modification to the Teleport Summoner Spell, allowing for earlier activation. Currently, Riot is focusing on making changes to Ghost, seemingly targeting its impact on the bottom lane.
Ghost changes in Patch 13.13
In Patch 13.13, Riot has implemented a nerf to the Ghost Summoner Spell, as shared by Spideraxe. The exact change entails increasing the cooldown from 210 seconds to 240 seconds. This adjustment brings the cooldown of Ghost in line with that of Heal.
Consequently, ADC players may face a dilemma in choosing between Ghost and Heal. Additionally, there may be a potential shift towards ADC players considering Barrier as an alternative to Ghost, alongside the prevalent choice of Cleanse.
Although this nerf primarily targets ADC players, top laners are unlikely to experience significant changes, as Ghost/Ignite/Teleport combinations will remain unaffected.
It remains to be seen how impactful this nerf will be on the overall game dynamics and whether it will generate substantial ripples.
