The Spring Split of League of Legends has concluded, and the teams for MSI 2023 have been determined. The unexpected victory of Gen.G over T1 in the LCK finals saw Doran's impressive Gragas play and rookie ADC Peyz's exceptional performance earn him the Finals MVP. In the LPL, JDG dominated and Ruler claimed the Finals MVP.
Cloud9 emerged as the dominant team in the LCS, with Fudge being awarded the Finals MVP. Rookie top laner Chasy helped MAD Lions win a thrilling 5-game series, earning him the Finals MVP title. Additionally, the winners of PCS, VCS, LLA, CBLOL, and LJL will be joining the major region teams in the MSI 2023.
Riot announced that the Play-Ins stage brackets will be unveiled after the LEC Finals, and they have now been revealed. The details of the MSI Draw for the Play-Ins stage are also available.
Play-In Bracket A
The bracket image indicates that BLG, Movistar R7, GG, and GAM Esports are the teams in this particular group. Although BLG is the front-runner, the other teams may pose a challenge for them. A match-up between GG and GAM Esports looks promising, as it has the potential to be an exciting game.
Play-In Bracket B
This group is considered more evenly matched compared to Bracket A. G2 Esports may have a slight advantage as the favorites, but their recent performance has been subpar, despite losing to MAD Lions, which may not seem as severe given the outcome of the Spring Finals.
Rules
The winners of each bracket will advance to the Brackets Stage, where a draw will determine their next opponents. However, losing one series will not spell the end for those teams, as they will still have a chance to qualify for the Brackets Stage through the Last Chance Qualifier.
The Last Chance Qualifier will feature a series that will determine the final team to make it to the Brackets Stage. These teams will be highly motivated to prove themselves and showcase their skills as they prepare for the tournament.
