The most recent PlayStation Showcase, which aired a couple of months ago left PlayStation fans wanting more first-party reveals, even though Sony showed plenty of new games from their studios like Haven and Firewalk and also gave us a lengthy demo of Insomniac Games' Spider-Man 2.
However, PlayStation fans wanted to see more, including the new games from Bend Studio and Naughty Dog's Factions project. Luckily, it seems that a new PlayStation Showcase could be happening later this year.
And judging by the tease from the reliable insider Snitch, an announcement might arrive very soon. Snitch was very cryptic with his latest tease, as he is always, revealing only three letters: "P x S".
PlayStation fans started speculating about what could this mean and came to the conclusion that the cryptic tweet probably is PlayStation-related. Obviously, that's quite the reach as the message could mean anything but Snitch has been known to reveal details about PlayStation and their showcase in the past so this could indeed be another hint for a PlayStation show.
One good thing about Snitch's teases is that he usually reveals stuff days in advance, not weeks or months, so we should be getting some news soon, if his information on whatever this is, is correct.
All in all, we'd certainly be excited for more PlayStation reveals in the coming months so fingers crossed we get some official information on this long-rumoured showcase in the coming days.
If the showcase doesn't happen, then it's almost certain that we'll get a State of Play focusing on Spider-Man 2 and potentially a couple of other games that are coming in 2024.
