Fans who have PlayStation Plus will have three new games joining their collections next month. October’s trio of PlayStation Plus games include F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.
Each title will be available starting on October 6 for PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5 and PS4. You have until November 2 to add the games to your library.
F1 25 is the headline PlayStation Plus addition for October. The new Formula One simulator launches on PS5 this month as the official game of the 20 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Single-player modes include Career and an enhanced version of last year’s My Team mode. Players can create their own Formula 1 squad and compete in events across the world. There’s also online multiplayer, which features a new F1 World mode that lets groups of friends battle against AI drivers.
Hunt: Showdown 1896
Hunt: Showdown 1896 is making its PlayStation Plus debut alongside its release on PS5. The action-packed extraction shooter pits players against monsters and other Hunters as they attempt to earn big bounties.
Players can tackle each environment solo or team up to with up to two other Hunters. Even after defeating your target and claiming their bounty, you’ll need to reach the extraction point alive.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2
The final PlayStation Plus game of the month is Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 on PS5 and PS4. Players can team up four characters from the EDF series and equip them with an arsenal of soldiers and weapons to create a customized squad.
The campaign pits players against the usual giant foes and introduces new monsters as well as voxel reimaginings of classic enemies. Online co-op supports up to four players and there’s two-player local split-screen support on both consoles.
The September PlayStation Plus Games Are Leaving Soon
Players have until October 5 to add September’s PlayStation Plus games to their collections. Those games include Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes.
