Niantic announced a new Mega Raid event for Pokemon Go which will see three debuts on top of a few handy bonuses.
Pokemon Go is bringing the Hoenn Mega Raid Day on December 3, 2022, at 5:00 PM local time.
Just like before, Niantic folks are launching it with a few other events that will overlap so make sure to keep up to date and prepare for any of those that you want to participate in.
As for the Hoenn-inspired Raid day, there will be three debuts that everyone can look forward to.
They are the Mega evolutions of Sceptile, Blaziken and Swampert and just like the apple that doesn't fall too far from the tree, neither do the debutants' names as they are called Mega Sceptile, Mega Blazike and Mega Swampert.
Lucky trainers will encounter their Shiny versions during the encounters in Mega Raids.
Event bonuses for Hoenn Mega Raid Day:
- Sceptile caught during this event will know the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant
- Blaziken caught during this event will know the Charged Attack Blast Burn
- Swampert caught during this event will know the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon
- You can receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs during the event
- You’ll have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Sceptile, Shiny Blaziken, and Shiny Swampert
Paying $5 for the ticket will net the following bonuses:
- Six additional Raid Passes from spinning Gyms (for a daily total of 12)
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles
- 2× Stardust for from Raid Battles
