Hitman 3 was rebranded to Hitman: World of Assassination somewhat recently as IO Interactive packed a bunch of content into a single package and then presented a few of the free Elusive Targets.
Soon after that, the devs announced the game would go on a hiatus as they focus on the new James Bond video game which doesn't have an ETA for the time being.
Despite the hiatus, IOI announced a new free Elusive Target, which is coming during autumn 2023.
The target will be The Drop, a world-famous DJ who became a drug impresario as life probably got a bit b boring for him. 47 will probably rectify that in various creative ways.
In any case, The Drop is based on Dimitri Vegas, a real-life DJ who lent his likeness and voice to the in-game character.
This is not the first time real-life celebrities became Elusive Targets in Hitman, with Sean Bean being one of the previous additions. The man just can't stop dying in entertainment media.
Currently, there is no exact launch date for The Drop but the official website does have "Coming fall 2023"
