ArenaNet came out firing on all cylinders with the launch of the Icebrood Saga finale, partially because they are bringing attention to the future of Guild Wars 2 and the next expansion.
Guild Wars 2 will pave the way to the next expansion with a pile of events, returning content, freebies and more. All of this will be done throughout the summer of 2021, the same period when new details on End of Dragons will be revealed. April 27 - Icebrood Saga finale launch
Quick but efficient culmination of the events stemming from Jormag's manipulative tactics and our own counterattacking plans. It is now live so log in and get in on the action. If you are unable to do so, you can read up on our impressions on the link above, spoiler free.
May 11 - Skill balance
ArenaNet folks are seeking to shift the meta and this will happen in two weeks. A balance pass will come around for both professions and their elite specialisations in order to shake up the meta and provide fresh new builds. The devs didn't provide more information yet.
May 25 - Free Living World episodes
If you have gaps in story content that you don't feel like paying money for, this may be the best time to log in. It's also a great time for newcomers to come around and avoid missing some of the best storytelling in the game.

July 13 - Twisted Marionette returns, Legendary Armory debuts
Twisted Marionette is one of the fan-favourite bosses and it will be making a return for a limited time, possibly in celebration of other big news. Some of it is coming in two weeks from this point in time while another makes a debut on the same day.
Legendary Armory will require you to get these items only once and they will become available for the entire account. Looks were already available through the Wardrobe but now you get to keep the functionality as well.
July 27 - Some big news on End of Dragons expansion
Devs will brief us on things like the setting and beta dates. Feel free to hype away!
