"Pan European Game Information is a European video game content rating system established to help European consumers make informed decisions when buying video games or apps through the use of age recommendations and content descriptors". So, something like the ESRB in the US.
Anyway, Reddit user called elderduddy370 posted Ghost of Tsushima's PEGI rating 16, arguing that we'll see the game launched within a year.
He wrote, "I know you're thinking placeholder but it's not. Games are only rated when they're within a year of release at the MOST, so what this probably means is that maybe soon a trailer?"
While this is still pretty vague, it's still better than what we've heard from Sucker Punch all this time. Which, of course, is a whole lotta nothing.
What we do know is that Ghost of Tsushima is the last in the batch of Sony's E3-announced exclusives, almost all of which have come to be called masterpieces, quite rightfully so.
At the time, struck yours truly as the most captivating one, and we really hope that Sony's hot exclusives streak continues.
After all, who hasn't fantasised about being a samurai probably has an alarming shortage of imagination, and even Sucker Punch admitted to that fantasy being their
Ghost of Tsushima's developer has recently been staffing up with and , but there's no official word yet.
Additionally, a posted a listing that said it launches on 30 August 2019, although we're yet to see whether that's just been a placeholder or something more.
There are rumours of the launch of The Last of Us Part 2 to early 2020, and with Hideo Kojima's launching in November 2019, it seems unlikely we'll see Ghost of Tsushima in 2019.
