Ghost of Tsushima will be playable on PlayStation 5 day one via backward compatibility and you'll be able to transfer your save from PS4. The game will also feature 60 FPS mode.
Sucker Punch Production's samurai action adventure Ghost of Tsushima is another PlayStation 4 exclusive that will be playable on the upcoming next-gen console PlayStation 5.
This has been officially confirmed by the developer who also revealed that players will be able to transfer their save files from PS4 to PS5 version of the game, which is always a neat addition.
On top of this, Ghost of Tsushima players will get to experience the game in 60 FPS for the first time ever. The PS4 was only able to push the game in 30 FPS but with the new hardware, buttery smooth 60 FPS should not be an issue.
Last but not least, Ghost of Tsushima loading speeds will also improve thanks to the console's super-fast SSD.
"PS5 owners playing with Game Boost will see an extra option to allow frame rates up to 60FPS, and while loading speeds on the PS4 are already great, just wait until you see them on the PS5," Sucker Punch tweeted.
At the moment, we do not know if the game will also receive other improvements such as better textures, draw distance and level of detail.
Ghost of Tsushima is just one of the games that will be available on PlayStation 5 thanks to backward compatibility. Sony already confirmed that more than 99 per cent of the PS4 library will be playable on PS5.
