Sucker Punch Productions have been blown away with the community's response to Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, so here come the weekly challenges, followed by the first Raid info.
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is the new co-op multiplayer mode, and Sucker Punch revealed there were more than 2 million matches in the first weekend, which just goes to show how beloved the game is.
"We’re thrilled with the enthusiastic response, and so grateful for everyone who’s played so far. We’re excited to continue watching and reading everyone’s streams, posts, and photo mode shares", the studio wrote.
Weekly Challenge
Ghost of Tsushima: Legends players are getting a new 2-player Story mission and 4-player Survival mission every Friday at 8:00am PT / 5:00pm CET. Players will be able to see the highest-scoring teams on the Story and Survival mission leaderboards.
Note that the missions are played on Nightmare Difficulty, but completing them as well as the bonus objectives are well worth it - max-level gear will come in handy come Raid time.
Raid - The Tale of Iyo
Sucker Punch confirmed that the first Ghost of Tsushima: Legends' first raid, The Tale of Iyo, launches on October 20, 2020. It's divided into three chapters and requires a full team of four Ghosts, and it goes without saying that coordination and communication will be crucial.
- The Tale of Iyo will not support matchmaking, so you’ll need to arrange your team ahead of time and be ready to jump in together. You’ll want to have your gear at KI level 100 as an absolute minimum before you attempt to take on this challenge.
The dev advised players to finish all the Story missions and replaying them at higher difficulties before jumping into Ghost of Tsushima's raid, because you'll be needing that higher level gear.
