PlayStation 4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima won't come soon according to the latest job listing from the developer Sucker Punch Productions. The studio are looking to hire a Narrative Writer to work on story development and game dialogue.
Ghost of Tsushima was one of the most impressive games on last year's E3 expo and at the moment, it's one of the most anticipated games on PlayStation 4.
Ever since Sucker Punch revealed the gameplay footage of their action adventure, one question was on many players' lips - when can we play this?
However, the devs are still quiet on that and the info we got since the last E3 is almost non-existent. The latest job posting from Sucker Punch is not giving us hope that we'll get to play Samurai adventure anytime soon.
The listing was posted on Gamasutra Job Board, and it looks like Suncher Punch are looking for a Narrative Writer, to "help create engaging narrative content for Ghost of Tsushima".
The hired candidate will be working on game dialogue, story development and contribute to the general narrative. The writer would also work closely with content designers to write missions for the game.
For a game that's been in early production since 2015, this seems like a pretty big position to fill and no wonder why many players fear that the game still has a lot of ground to cover before the release.
However, it's also possible that Sucker Punch are hiring a writer for a potential DLC, or to replace someone who departed the company, but of course, this is just speculation at the moment.
Ghost of Tsushima was originally confirmed in 2015 and revealed at Sony's Paris Games Week presentation in October 2017. Back then, Sony said that they didn't want to announce the game too soon since the scale of the project is huge and many of the game's systems are tentative and subject to change.

Hopefully, Sony and Sucker Punch soon reveal some new details about Ghost of Tsushima. E3 2019 would be the perfect place but as you may know, Sony decided to skip the world's biggest gaming expo for the first time in their history.
