FromSoftware has released a new update for Elden Ring: Nightreign, bringing balance changes and bug fixes across all platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam. Patch Version 1.01.3 focuses on improving stability and addressing several gameplay issues that affected combat, items, and multiplayer.
It's not the biggest or most important update that Elden Ring: Nightreign received since launch, but From Software and Bandai Namco are slowly improving the game and will continue to do so in the coming months, according to their own patch notes here.

General balance adjustments
- Increased the chance of obtaining weapons with the madness status ailment.
Bug Fixes
- Whirlwind skill visibility has been corrected when paired with the Guardian relic effect.
- Fixed an issue causing the Demon Merchant to spawn incorrectly near the Night's Tide during certain curse events.
- Addressed damage inconsistencies with Ironeye’s Marking skill, which created weak points on enemies.
- Lightning resistance from the Bolt of Gransax weapon’s passive effect now functions correctly.
- Fixed Ultimate Art gauge filling too quickly against specific enemies.
- Affinity attacks now apply properly to bows and crossbows when switching weapons with the right relic effect.
- Resolved an issue where Rune prices for uncommon weapons from merchants were miscalculated.
- Fixed a bug where players could lose boss battles after being revived, particularly against Nightlords.
- Improved camera behaviour in Nightlord multiplayer fights.
- Fixed missing phantom NPCs in Limveld.
- Added updated credits information to the game.
