Elden Ring Nightreign introduces four new Everdark Sovereigns - Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog - starting July 31, raising the challenge for veterans.

On July 31, FromSoftware is set to release four new Everdark Sovereigns in Elden Ring Nightreign. The recently updated boss selection system in the game’s hardest mode features a rotating lineup of high-level bosses that are intended to test even the most seasoned Tarnished.

The new additions to the Everdark Sovereign rotation are Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog, all of which are heavily-modified versions of pre-existing Nightlords that are now packed with even more abilities and savage attack patterns.

The four new bosses follow in the wake of recent Everdark Sovereigns like Gaping Jaw, Sentient Pest, and Indelible Pest, and while FromSoftware has not made any official announcement regarding rotation schedule for these new characters, the brief teaser image for the upcoming patch reveals Equilibrious Beast preparing to launch an attack, which could potentially be the order in which they will be rotated into play.

The Everdark Sovereigns were first introduced in Elden Ring Nightreign via the 1.01.3 update, and they quickly became a fan favorite of the challenging co-op roguelike mode that mashed-up many of FromSoftware’s go-to roguelite and Soulsborne elements.

Following the update, player numbers in the mode have seen an influx of activity, and while there’s no official information regarding future patch releases, FromSoftware has assured players that there’s more free content and DLC planned for the game later in 2025 that will feature new characters and bosses.
