Electronic Arts has announced EA Sports UFC 6 with a release date set for June 19. This upcoming installment in the EA Sports MMA franchise will include new content, expanded modes, and early access for those who purchase the premium version of the game.
Early access will be available starting June 12 for owners of the Ultimate Edition. This has become one of many sports games nowadays releasing their title early for fans who wish to get a jump start before its worldwide release.
The cover athletes have also been revealed for EA Sports UFC 6. Alex Pereira will grace the cover of the Standard Edition while Max Holloway will headline the Ultimate Edition.
Both Pereira and Holloway are some of the most marketable fighters in modern MMA, which should please fans of the franchise. Ultimate Edition includes a Fighter Pass that will grant players access to eight additional fighters over the coming years.
Two fighters will be accessible at launch, which further showcases EA’s live service approach for the game’s overall fighter roster. Finally, there will be two significant expansions.
These updates will include content drops similar to the Fighter Pass and even a completely new game mode this Winter in 2026. Another expansion will follow that summer.
No word on what the new mode entails but the promise of it is a good sign that EA is looking to continue supporting UFC 6 well after launch. EA Sports UFC 6 is launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The game is currently under development for PC, but no word on a release window for that version just yet. More details and gameplay should be unveiled in the weeks to come.
