Battlefield 6 will be heading to Las Vegas when Season 5 launches next month. As players drop into the new area, they can expect an all-new map, faster BR action with Rapid Royale and a handful of new competitive features.
There will also be new weapons and hardware players can unlock. Area 51 is the location of the new Battlefield 6 map coming in Season 5.
Area 51 Becomes the New Battlefield
With Season 5, Battlefield 6 players will visit Area 51 and fight to defend top secret information. As players take on opponents across the new map, they’ll enjoy an all-new experience in the Battlefield franchise.
This season’s story expansion will also see REDSEC receive major updates. Rapid Royale is a Battle Royale game type designed to be quicker and more aggressive than the base game. This season will officially introduce Ranked Battle Royale to Battlefield players, increasing the competition when landing in the game’s Battle Royale mode.
Ranked Matchmaking will launch in the game’s competitive mode, called Open Series Competition. Players can climb the ranks and push toward an Open Series spot.
Dead Space Comes to Battlefield 6
In celebration of Halloween, players can look forward to a Dead Space-themed event in Battlefield 6. Siege of Las Vegas is a PvE-focused experience that will see players combat a rapidly spreading corruption caused by an ancient artifact.
Weapons and hardware are also coming to Battlefield 6 when Season 5 launches.
