EA Sports UFC 6 has gotten its first gameplay trailer. The new trailer gives fans another look at some of the improvements headed to the next installment of the popular MMA series.
Slated for release on June 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, EA Sports UFC 6 continues to dive headfirst into realism with its presentation and combat.
The new gameplay trailer goes deep on updated visuals, animations, and gameplay systems that look to make each fight feel impactful and intimate. Players can also expect many of the improvements highlighted in this new trailer, along with larger enhancements to striking and the overall flow of combat that were mentioned in previous reporting.
New Gameplay Systems and Realism
Markerless Capture technology improves animations and movements for each fighter. Giving athletes more lifelike locomotion and signature styles as they move around the Octagon.
Real fighter models will arrive thanks to Sapien Technology. Giving each combatant the most life-like rendition we’ve seen in any fighter. Improved strikes, knockdowns, and reactions to damage are made possible through a new Real-Time Contact System leveraging Frostbite-powered physics.
EA Sports UFC 6 also introduces Flow State. Allowing fighters to deal more damage as they transition into more impactful and offensive maneuvers after building up momentum.
EA Sports UFC 6 releases June 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Players will be able to jump into action starting June 12 if they pick up the Ultimate Edition of the game. The game is also said to be headed to PC, however, no official word on a release window has been mentioned.
