Destiny 2 will have the first Iron Banner in the new expansion soon and Saladin isn't coming empty-handed.

Bungie had to make a few adjustments to important dates in Destiny 2 recently, resulting in Iron Banner delay, which means that the first one will start on the next weekly reset on March 21, 2023.

After that, one week without the PvP activity will be available, after which the Banner will return once again.

It will feature a rebalanced reputation gain where the armour bonuses will still be significant but the emblem will provide more reputation than before.

Using all the available armour and the emblem will still yield a 50 per cent bonus but those who don't have the necessary armour pieces or ornaments will be able to somewhat keep up by just equipping the emblem.

Furthermore, the Iron Banner modes will be rotated between Iron Banner Control, Eruption and Fortress in Season 20. Control will be the first one, followed by Eruption and Fortress will close out the season.

As for new game modes, they will be introduced in the future and the info about them will also arrive in a TWAB.

In the rewards department, players can look forward to a Pulse Rifle and Sniper Rifle being added to the loot pool, although both Jorum's Claw and Bite of the Fox are legacy weapons, meaning they are not brand new ones.
