Destiny 2 is getting rid of destination materials in Season 19, which will put a strain on several systems that had them included but Bungie have mostly covered the changes and described them in the latest TWAB.
Unlike Master Rahool who will mostly keep conducting his business as usual, Devrim Kay and Failsafe are getting significant changes that may not necessarily be for the better.
Both vendors will no longer have the reputation system that involved giving them destination materials, which is undoubtedly an upgrade since the process was quite tedious.
This also means all their gear will be purchasable immediately since you won't need to grind ranks in order to get the right to buy it. On paper, the change sounds great but the sunset weapons these two were selling will be removed from their inventories and there is no mention of possible replacements.
In addition, each vendor will offer up to four bounties a day, although the necessity of their existence is questionable at this point but if you want to grind a few more season pass ranks, this could be a way to do it.
While the removal of options that could waste Legendary Shards for players who are inexperienced with the sunset mechanics is admirable, it would be nice to have at least something to make the vendors interesting again.
