Blizzard one interaction, several bugs and re-added some maps but managed to mess Overwatch 2 up for countless players in the process.
Overwatch 2 players were likely relieved to see 17 bugs and quality-of-life fixes coming in the latest patch but what they probably didn't expect is Blizzard messing up so bad they can't even join a game now.
Namely, after the patch on October 13, 2022, players tend to get stuck in queue despite finding a match, with the message stating there has been an "Error starting game[sic]" and to try again.
What this meant for most players is that they can't even join a match so all those fixes were rendered unusable.
On the other hand, if you are curious about the actual patch notes , one of the highlights is the removal of Zenyatta's interaction with Kiriko's ultimate, at which point the Omnic monk would start shooting at an incredible speed, bringing even the sturdiest of enemies down quickly.
Speaking of Kiriko, her achievement that was bugged and unobtainable should no longer be that way and her Swift Step ability should no longer teleport you under the map.
Meanwhile, Numbani and Necropolis are back on the rotation for their game modes, with hybrid map fans being highly glad to have Numbani back.
