CD Projekt Red have announced a special episode of their Night City Wire live streams, where they plan to talk about the upcoming Netflix anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners but more importantly, what's next for their RPG Cyberpunk 2077.
Sadly, the details are pretty scarce but CD Projekt Red team seem to be pretty excited for this one, so expect some big Cyberpunk 2077 news.
If we had to guess, we would say that CD Projekt Red are set to announce the first major expansion for Cyberpunk 2077.
So far, the team released small updates for their big title. The first expansion was originally planned to release this year, but recently, CD Projekt Red confirmed that the release window has been pushed to 2023.
Hopefully, we'll get more details on the release date during the live stream which airs on September 6, at 5:00 PM CET / 11:00 AM EST.
According to the recent leaks, Cyberpunk 2077's expansion will be set in the Pacifica Region with new characters and an interesting storyline.
CD Projekt Red confirmed that they have big post-launch plans for Cyberpunk 2077, so it's possible that the team have more than one big expansion in the works, which would certainly be great news for all Cyberpunk 2077 fans.
The developer are also working on the next Witcher game in Unreal Engine 5.
