The entire story of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 expansion was accidentally added to the game files with the latest patch.
CD Projekt Red developers have made a big mess with the latest Cyberpunk 2077 patch by accidentally adding the entire story of the unannounced expansion to the game files. The story has quickly been data mined by data miners and is available in full on Reddit and other gaming forums.
The file includes every line of dialogue from the first expansion, which should be coming later this year, with a marketing campaign starting in the next few months.
Judging by the leaked files, it looks like Cyberpunk 2077 expansion will be set in the inaccessible part of the Pacifica region.
The leaked files can be found here , but before you dive into the dialogue, keep in mind that this is obviously a very spoiler-heavy territory so if you don't want to know the plot and the story of the expansion, we suggest you ignore the link.
Cyberpunk 2077 already received a couple of free DLCs but this will be the first major expansion for the game with a brand new story, new locations and characters. As mentioned, CD Projekt Red have only teased the new expansion and will be talking more about it very soon.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
