Following the leaks from a couple of days ago, the official key art for Assassin's Creed Mirage has leaked online via Ubisoft Store. The Twitter account Codex shared the key art, which shows a hooded assassin wielding a sword as he's about to enter some kind of an underground crypt.
The artwork also gives a hint at a big creature inside the crypt, with a large shadow of someone/something with a sword looming in the background.
Additionally, the Ubisoft Store leak seems to confirm the name of one of the quests which players will get for pre-ordering the game. It's named The Forty Thieves which could be connected to Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves folk tale the One Thousand and One Nights.
Assassin's Creed Mirage title has been confirmed by reliable industry insiders already, so it's only a matter of time before Ubisoft officially announce the game.
It's highly likely that the announcement is set for the Ubisoft Forward showcase, which is scheduled for 9:00 PM CEST on Saturday, September 10, 2022, where Ubisoft plan to talk about the future of the Assassin's Creed franchise.
The future will include a big platform for all upcoming Assassin's Creed games called Assassin's Creed Infinity. Some insiders suggest that Ubisoft are already working on a couple of games for Infinity, including the one set in Japan.
But since these are just rumours, we suggest you take everything with a grain of salt until the official reveal, which is just around the corner.
