Although Blizzard's latest action RPG, Diablo 4, is extremely well-rated and accepted, Blizzard has been receiving more and more complaints in recent days, mostly about the poor balance in rewards for dungeons on different difficulty levels.
Blizzard has pledged that these issues will be resolved quickly, but they also highlight a fact that they find very odd: a sizable portion of players still have not progressed to the so-called "endgame" stage, where the game significantly changes.
It may be concluded that the vast majority of players find it far more intriguing to follow the additional content that Diablo 4 is actually crammed with than to complete the main campaign, even though the reward system changes totally after the campaign is concluded.
The loss of a character in Hardcore mode in the event that the player disconnects from the server, for example, if the game crashes, is a much more serious issue that has plagued Diablo 4 since its release and is still unresolved. This can result in the loss of hours and hours of progress and effort.
According to Blizzard, a fix is being developed for that. Currently, they are contemplating a number of solutions to this problem, one of which is to activate the Scrolls of Escape item in the event that the server connection is lost, which would instantly send the player's character back to the safe area.
Although it already exists in the game, the item is extremely rare. Unfortunately, this fix won't be coming anytime soon. At best, we can only expect it in the second season of Diablo 4, that is, sometime in the fall.
