Diablo 4 may look overwhelming with all those classes, skill trees and a huge open world to explore but it's actually one of the Diablo games that should be very easy to get into.

Blizzard's big action RPG is just around the corner and if you watched a couple of trailers, there's a good chance Diablo 4 might have piqued your interest, even if you're not really into isometric games.

If you are one of those players who never played a single Diablo game in your life, but would love to give it a go with Diablo 4, you're probably overwhelmed by all the lore, skill trees and classes that the game has to offer.

But worry not, in this article we'll ease those fears and try to convince you to give the game a try, even if you never slayed a demon in Diablo.

Why you should play Diablo 4 even if you're a complete Diablo noob

  • Blizzard pretty much confirmed that one of the main design goals for Diablo 4 is to appeal to players who have no familiarity with this iconic franchise at all.
  • You don't need to know the previous story or lore of Diablo to enjoy Diablo 4. The game's story is standalone and not connected to previous Diablo games.
  • The classes are fairly easy to understand and even though the gameplay can look chaotic, the attacks and magic are pretty straightforward to use.
  • Skill tree offer a detailed explanation of every skill you can unlock. The only thing that you need to look closely at is what skills suit your playstyle.
  • Diablo 4 does a great job of explaining everything right from the get-go. Be it dungeons, quests, crafting and loot system, the game slowly introduces these mechanics through the main campaign.

One thing that Diablo 4 does great is making the player feel like a true badass which certainly makes it an enjoyable experience for many, many hours.
