Respawn made it pretty clear that Apex Legends ain't no Fortnite and that their development schedule is tailored to their capacities, so to ease the wait until the next content drop, the dev launched a free PlayStation Plus Play Pack.

Apex Legends PS Plus Play Pack contains 6 items in total, two of which are character skins for Apex's medic Lifeline and Mirage, the resident bamboozler of the bunch.

Next up are two weapon skins - one for EVA-8 shotguns and another for Apex's bullet hose submachine gun, the R-99.

Last but not least are the banners, again for Lifeline and Mirage, which completes the Apex Legends PS Plus Play Pack.

Naturally, you have to be a PS Plus subscriber to take advantage of Sony's free-but-not-really-free offer, and all you need to do is head on PlayStation Store and pick up your free pack.

In fact, he stressed that he doesn't want the team, adding, "There are a lot of people that are like 'hey where's the weekly updates, Fortnite does this.' And it's like, we're not set up to do that. We never intended to."

As far as Apex Legends' updates go, Respawn recently announced that the next patch will address most of the issues regarding hit registration, the fix to the slow-mo effect that plagues some matches, Fortification bug fixes for Gibraltar and Caustic as well as other changes like increased attention on the practice called
