Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity concludes its story on September 15 with the Code of Creation update, adding a new zone, raid, fractal and legendary rewards.

Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity’s endgame content is nearing its conclusion. ArenaNet announced that September 15 will see the launch of Code of Creation, the final major expansion update that concludes the story of Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity on the island of Castora.

The update continues the story left off at The Only Way, which saw players further explore Castora as they searched for Vloxx and stopped his efforts to weaponize the island’s magic. Players will team up with allies to try and stop Vloxx once and for all before he makes a choice that could doom Tyria forever.

Code of Creation will not only serve as the story finale, but will also introduce players to a new explorable zone, rewards, and several pieces of group content.

Leyspring Hollows and New Rewards

Visions of Eternity’s finale will take players to Leyspring Hollows, which players can explore to help progress Rift Amplification Mastery and earn more equipment. Reward-wise, players can look forward to the Tenebral Ward armour set, Shining Ward weapon set, new relics, as well as an all-new Wizard’s Vault season with additional cosmetic rewards.

Players chasing down legendary equipment can also progress towards the Wages of Stars legendary sword as well as a new Volatile Ascension infusion.

Code of Creation has several group activities players can tackle:

  • Nexus of Eternity - A 10-player raid with Challenge and Legendary Modes being introduced in the weeks following launch
  • Solitary Throne - A new five-player fractal with a Challenge Mode being added later
  • Nexus of Eternity Convergence - An up-to-50-player large-scale activity that has players race against the clock to save Tyria

Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity is available on Steam and the Guild Wars 2 website for $24.99. Players who own Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity will be able to access Code of Creation on September 15.

September 15 will surely be a busy day for players of Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity as the Castora storyline wraps up, but ArenaNet’s new raid, fractal, and large-scale Convergence should provide players with plenty of reason to log back in even after they reach the story’s conclusion.
