A new VALORANT leak has surfaced, showcasing details about another weapon purportedly named the Warden. This rifle would seemingly allow for full-auto fire with a built-in 2x scope. This differentiates the weapon’s theoretical strengths significantly from VALORANT’s current crop of rifles.
The leak lists the agent stat book as costing 2,900 Credits, pricing it alongside both the Vandal and Phantom. However, Riot Games has yet to confirm either weapon or its listed stats, so some changes are likely before we know it.
Reported VALORANT Warden Stats
Currently, the leak on the Warden shows:
- Weapon Type: Full-auto rifle
- Cost: 2,900 Credits
- Magazine: 18
- Reserve ammunition: 90
- Scope: 2x
- Fire rate: 6.5 rounds/sec
- Reload: 2.5 seconds
- Penetration: Medium
Pricing the weapon at 2,900 Credits would slot the Warden right beside the Vandal and Phantom. Because of this, its unreleased damage and accuracy statistics will be extremely important to tuning if Riot wants it to act as competition.
As of now, the leak does not specify how much head, body, or leg damage the Warden would inflict. Additionally, there is no real way to tell how its damage per distance would be scaled until more numbers are released.
The rifle also only sports an 18-round magazine, significantly less than most of VALORANT’s other high-tier rifles. Coupled with its lower fire rate of 6.5 rounds-per-second, players may be able to assume that Warden bullets do greater damage per shot. However, this is simply conjecture until more information is released.
Riot Games has not said anything about when the Warden will arrive. It is possible that it could arrive as early as September 22 with Patch 13.06, but since Riot has not said this weapon will be coming, there is no guarantee.
