Electronic Arts has announced the complete soundtrack for EA SPORTS FC 27 today, featuring 120 artists from 36 different countries. The new playlist acts as another chapter in EA’s continued use of their annual soundtrack as a platform for introducing players to both new artists, as well as talented musicians already familiar to fans.
The soundtrack was unveiled just days before EA SPORTS FC 27 Early Access launches on 18 September, before hitting consoles worldwide on 25 September.
Like last year’s soundtrack, FC 27’s music spans numerous genres, with the team expanding upon music integration into the football series’ new social hubs.
Interpol, The Strokes and Little Simz Lead the Line-Up
Heavy hitters like Interpol, The Neighbourhood, The Strokes, The War on Drugs, Royal Blood, Nia Archives, Chase & Status, Little Simz and Barry Can’t Swim are just some of the artists returning for another year on the EA SPORTS FC soundtrack. Lesser-known artists making appearances on FC 27 include: The Itch, Sycco, Bruvvy, Temper City, bed, and Rose Gray.
Alongside returning and up-and-coming artists, listeners can look forward to previously unheard music from the likes of Cage The Elephant and Mura Masa. Sayf also features on the soundtrack with his new single TOP OF THE POPS (Red Bull 64 Bars). Additionally, Dying In Reverse by Cage The Elephant will be made available for the first time on FC 27.
Music will also be heard across FC 27’s new shared social hub, titled The Grounds. Musical tastes differ across its three districts - Parkside, Montclair and Zeiza, inspired by English, French and Argentinian cultures, respectively.
Players of FC Mobile can cast their votes between 10 to 12 September to select which of five FC 27 tracks they want to see added to the mobile title. The winning track will arrive on 12 October.
