Marathon - Order/Chaos Contract Guide

Order/Chaos is the first contract you'll complete for the MIDA faction in Marathon. In this contract, you have to first hack a terminal, then take down a security commander for security credentials, and then download data from a terminal in a single run. Thanks to Buincey on YouTube, we were able to get a clear outline of the contract.

Here's how you can complete all the objectives in the Order/Chaos contract.

Trigger Alarms in South Complex by Hacking a Terminal

To kick off the contract, you will need to hack a terminal. You'll find the terminal in the South of the Complex POI. Here's the location of the terminal marked on the map:

The terminal is located at the centre moist point of Complex just near the connection between the North and the South wing of the POI in Dire Marsh.

You will find the terminal at the ground floor of the POI. It's located in a room that has the "CPLX-3" lettering above it.

Approach the terminal in South Complex to begin the hacking process.

Acquire Security Commander Credentials

As soon as you are done hacking the terminal, the security commander will arrive in Complex. Make sure to stay alert and behind cover, as you need to stay alive and take them out to complete the contract.

The security commander will spawn with two less armoured soldiers and take them out with headshots, and you will see the security credentials pop out on the ground.

Pick up the USEC credentials to move on to the next part of the contract.

Download data from the terminal inside south Maintenance

Once you get your hands on the USEC credentials, make your way to the terminal located in South Maintenance. As you approach the terminal, you will find it marked with a green indicator. Just simply press the download prompt and your contract will be complete.

Input the USEC credentials to begin the downloading process.

As you have to take down the security commander, there is minimal room for stealth during this contract. While other players may get alerted of your presence in the area from gunfire, pick up the USEC credentials as fast as you can, then head towards the final objective without dying.
