Marathon: Protect/Destroy [5/5] Quest Guide

Protect/Destroy is a series of contracts you need to complete for the MIDA faction in Marathon. In Protect Destroy [4/5], you need to first hack into a shipping database to intercept a supply reup, then blast open a marked container, and extract the the acquired supplies. Thanks to Buincey on YouTube, we were able to get a clear outline of the contract.

Here's how you can complete all the objectives in the Protect/Destroy [4/5] contract.

Hack shipping database to Intersection

Head to Intersection and head to the far west of the POI. Once there, head into the first building on the left. Enter the building and head to the second floor to look for the marked terminal.

Enter through this building to reach the shipping database terminal in Intersection.

Hack the terminal to get the shipping database for commencing the next step of the contract. There might be some UESC AI enemies guarding the area, so keep your guards up.

Using explosives, blast open a container in Complex

After getting the shipping database, head to the Complex POI on the map. Head to the middle of Complex and look for the marked containers.

Use explosives to blast open container doors in the marked location.

Once you find the target container, use a grenade to blow off one side. As the grenade detonates, the box will be open, and you will find the contract items inside the box. Pick up the UESC Resource Stockpile and store it in your inventory.

Exfil UESC Resource Stockpile

Like every other contract, you have to complete this one in a single run without dying. So, once you acquire the UESC Resource Stockpile, your next objective is to successfully exfil without getting killed.

Exfil through the Complex POI point to complete the contract.

For the exfil, I recommend using the one in Complex. While it might be in the middle of a very busy POI and filled with UESC AI enemies, wait until the last few minutes and then exfil with your team to avoid confrontation with other teams.
