Marathon: Protect Destroy [3/5] Quest Guide

Protect/Destroy is a series of contracts you need to complete for the MIDA faction in Marathon. In Protect Destroy [3/5], you need to first head to Intersection POI, then acquire a UV protocol from a secure room, and finally use it to mark locations across Dire Marsh. Thanks to Buincey on YouTube, we were able to get a clear outline of the contract.

Here's how you can complete all the objectives in the Protect/Destroy [3/5] contract.

Install UV Protocol from secure room in southwest Intersection

Head to the Intersection POI of the map, then look for the marked building. Enter the building through the main door; you might get affected by a trap, so make sure to carry enough heals.

Enter this building to acquire the UV protocol in Southwest Intersection.

Once inside, head to the top floor and search the marked cabinet to acquire the UV protocol. Store the UV protocol in your backpack and move on to the next part of the contract.

Tag marked locations across Dire Marsh

Once you acquire the UV protocol, you will see a prompt for marking locations in either Complex, Maintainence, or AI Uplink. You can head to any POI from these three to complete this objective.

Head to any one of these three locations and tag them to complete the contract.

After reaching the marked location, you'll see green icons indicating the locations you need to tag. The three locations required to be tagged will be in the same area, so just tag them, and this objective will be complete.

Make sure to keep your guards up while completing these objectives for the contract, as you have to complete it in a single run without getting killed. If you are killed after acquiring the UV protocol, just join another match and start from the first objective again.
