Dragon's Dogma 2, the newest action RPG from Capcom, is a true small paradise for the fans of exploration within video games because, in this game, every corner hides some secrets that are begging to be explored and discovered.

While solving the main quests or simply exploring huge game's world, your adventures will eventually lead you to the town of Bakbattahl, located inside the game's desert area. Inside this town, there's Flamebearer's Palace, whose southern part features a huge, magically locked gate that leads even further south to the game's third and final area.

How to open a huge door inside Flamebearer's Ward

If you head south from the palace, you'll come across a huge courtyard featuring a big door with a magic seal, and if you decide to interact with it, the game will inform you that the door is inaccessible at the moment.

So, what can you do to make it accessible? If you're curious about this, the answer is quite simple: you must wait for the game to progress much further because this door can only be unlocked with the Empowered Godsbane Blade, and acquiring this item is a story-related task.

Namely, in order to get this item, you must start the Guardian Gigantus quest, and during this quest, the cutscene will commence showing you what to do to open this door. Once you approach the door with the Empowered Godsbane Blade in your possession, simply press the action button, and Arisen will draw the sword and open the big door. Simple as that.

However, if you're eager to discover what lies beyond this gate and you didn't progressed through the story that far, it is possible to reach the other side of the gate. Make your way to the Volcanic Island Camp and follow the road to the north. This path will lead you all the way to the other side of this gate. Regrettably, you won't be able to open it until you reach this quest.
