Sphinx's riddles in Dragon's Dogma 2, the latest action RPG from Capcom, are part of the biggest quest called A Game of Wits, in which you must solve all of Sphinx's riddles and ultimately fight her in order to solve this quest.
Given that each riddle is enigmatic and you can easily guess the wrong answer, it is crucial to be prepared to give the correct answer to all the riddles. This is especially important because, in some instances, Sphinx can simply fly away, and that can make the quest broken beyond repair.
To prevent that from happening, we've prepared guides that will show you all the correct answers to all of the Sphinx's riddles. In this guide, we bring you the solution to the Riddle of Conviction.
How to solve the Riddle of Conviction
This riddle is, by many standards, much different than the others because you cannot guess the wrong answer, so do not be afraid; you cannot make a mistake here.
However, you must know that by choosing the answer wisely, you can benefit greatly. The question that Sphinx will give you is: "Life is an enigma—a lender of mortal debt. Yet lighter pack makes fleeter foot and challenge nimbly met. So grant to me what you most prize, and hence elude your ponderous demise." Enigmatic, right?
Well, as we said earlier, there's no wrong answer here; whatever you choose to give to Sphinx, she will multiply it and give it back to you, so choose some item that is rare and hard to obtain, like a portcrystal or wakestone. Once you give her an item, she will unlock a chest. Pick up an item from the chest, and this riddle is done.
