Xbox's latest showcase trailer sends Fable fans into a frenzy

Xbox seem to be hinting at a brand new Fable trailer in their latest teaser video for the Xbox Games Showcase, which is just around the corner.

Fable is one of those Xbox titles that we haven't seen ever since Playground Games dropped that teaser CGI trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase 2020. It's been three years of radio silence from this studio, who are hard at work on this highly anticipated action RPG for PC and Xbox Series X|S.

As we get closer to the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 , some fans are hopeful that this could finally be the year when we see more of Fable and the latest showcase teaser from the Xbox social media team has got fans of this magical world excited once again.

In the very original teaser, fans have spotted some clues that could be hints for a new Fable teaser. These clues include the music, which is similar to the one in Fable and a trail of glitter which is also found in previous Fable games as a way of tracking quests.

Fable is now in full production; described as "Witcher-like"

Some may say that Fable fans are really reaching here but that's what years of waiting do to a man. Jokes aside, it certainly is possible that Xbox are hinting at a new Fable trailer in the video but we suggest you don't get your hopes up just yet, otherwise, you'll just end up being disappointed if Fable doesn't show up at the showcase.

Even if a new Fable trailer doesn't drop during the showcase, there will be plenty of other games that Xbox Game Studios have been cooking for a while that can fill that spot. We expect to see titles like Avowed , Hellblade 2 and of course, the biggest game of the year, Bethesda's Starfield.

All in all, the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase should certainly be one hell of a show and we cannot wait for June 11 to arrive.
