Fortnite Battle Royale seems to have made more waves than melting of polar ice caps and seeing as how Season 3 ends today, we're set to recap what exactly should we expect from Season 4 of the most popular battle royale title on the market.

Now, we won't pretend we have all the answers, because we don't. I'd bet half of my game development company that not even Epic fully does as I'm sure they'll be winging many Fortnite features, especially when it comes to skins. Not that it matters, seeing as I don't have a game development company either, so let's recap Fortnite's Season 4.

One of the in-game tabs shows a countdown for remainder of Season 3, which ends in just under 19 hours at the time of writing. All the signs point to Fortnite's Season 4 beginning tomorrow, 01 May 2018, which is coincidentally International Workers' Day. Perhaps it's only fitting, what with all the in-game construction work being done daily.

Fortnite's Season 3 skins mostly focused on astronauts and whatnot but Epic are already teasing Season 4 flavour - . Full disclosure - if it was the movies, I'd probably be puking by now but Fortnite is another matter altogether.

The game's Twitter page has been teasing Season 4 with superhero lookalikes, adding their faces to the comet shaped object, one for each day leading up to Season 4. Starting with the Flash-looking fellow on 26 April 2018, Epic have so far posted four Fortnite Season 4 teaser posters, one of them with a Wonder Woman lookalike.

Most Season 3 changes on Fortnite's map went to its Western parts, leftmost if you will. Tilted Towers, Snobby Shores, Lucky Landing, Haunted Hills, Junk Junction and Shifty Shafts have all been added in that time frame, prompting many to suggest that Epic will work on the Eastern parts throughout Fortnite's Season 4.

There's also the comet, which has been rumoured to be heading for and then . Levelling Twin Towers, or at least a part of it, does indeed seem like a smart idea, what with the location regularly hogging half the players right off the bus.

It's safe to assume that Season 4 will last for 10 weeks, just like Season 3, and that the Battle Pass pricing will remain unchanged. All that's left is to wait it out right? Well, perhaps a few drops first.
