Epic seem to be aiming for a superhero flavoured Season 4 to their massively popular Fortnite Battle Royale. After teasing the Flash looking fellow, the company rolled out another Season 4 poster, this time with a Wonder Woman lookalike.

Despite the apparent DCness of these posters, Epic seem to have borrowed from Marvel's Fantastic Four as well and a careful observer will immediately pick up on the uncanny resemblance of the logo. Nevertheless, Epic know how pull these things off - they did borrow John Wick after all and didn't get sued.

Both of the posters feature the dreaded comet as well, suggesting that Fortnite's Season 4 will marry the superhero and comet thing. Just how exactly Epic plan to go about it though is anyone's guess for the time being.

In the meantime, rumours have come up that Fortnite's comets will actually be hitting Dusty Depot instead of Tilted Towers, which at this point is as good a guess as any. Note however that the rumour was started by the same person who correctly predicted the entire superhero theme two days before Epic actually announced it.

Interestingly, in the tweet for the Flash looking guy, Epic wrote "Battle. Adapt. Win." whereas the Wonder Woman looking poster came with "Fight with Honor." This prompted many to speculate that the company is either trying to incorporate a conflict between the two into Fortnite matches or we're just seeing the general theme the Epic will follow with Season 4 skins.

In related news, Fortnite has managed to outrun PUBG in March, both in terms of revenue and player count, meaning don't expect the hype to subside. Epic's battle royale ace has thus become the biggest free-to-play console title ever, which really says enough.

Fortnite is already available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox and with Android and Nintendo Switch in the works, one really has to wonder just how far can Epic take a game. With the game promising to be the first to offer cross-play across all platforms, it's certain that Fortnite is already a game for history books.
