Iron Gate is gearing up to release Valheim's Hearth and Home update in September. The long-awaited shipment of new content and gameplay options recently got a cinematic trailer.
It's now been a month since we've heard from the Iron Gate dev team but the wait was worth it. Valheim's long-awaited Hearth and Home update finally has a release date. The team celebrated their announcement by treating everyone to a cinematic trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live.

Iron Gate's latest trailer brings the distinct brand of warm and fuzzies, coupled with some delicious monster-slaying. Valheim's Hearth and Home update will bring new content that will expand gameplay options, but also introduce some fresh furniture, building pieces, food and more.
The team has been hard at work deepening Valheim's gameplay with new food categories that'll make you think about what you consume more than those inspiring Instagram influencer "what I eat in a day" posts. To this end, Iron Gate has been sharing walkthrough videos that will help the players get acquainted with the upcoming mechanics before Hearth and Home hits the live game.

A full list of new items coming to Valheim with the new update may not be shared at all as the devs much prefer you find the new additions yourselves.
