Iron Gate's latest trailer brings the distinct brand of warm and fuzzies, coupled with some delicious monster-slaying. Valheim's Hearth and Home update will bring new content that will expand gameplay options, but also introduce some fresh furniture, building pieces, food and more.

The team has been hard at work deepening Valheim's gameplay with new food categories that'll make you think about what you consume more than those inspiring Instagram influencer "what I eat in a day" posts. To this end, Iron Gate has been sharing walkthrough videos that will help the players get acquainted with the upcoming mechanics before Hearth and Home hits the live game.

The Iron Gate team has also been steadily letting slip some additional information about Hearth and Home update and here are two more behind-the-scenes pieces of fresh intel:

Even more people now call themselves members of the Iron Gate team: there's the new animator Christoffer Solgevik, a new programmer-person Jonathan Smårs and Andreas Thomasson - QA extraordinaire.

Valheim's Hearth and Home update will go live on September 16.
