Tyr voice actor Ben Prendergast has teased God of War Ragnarok sequel at PAX 2023, saying that players haven't seen the last of Tyr
The story of God of War is certainly far from over as this is one of the most popular PlayStation franchises, and it's without a doubt that Sony would love to pump out more God of War games in the near future.
With the conclusion in God of War: Ragnarok, many PlayStation fans are wondering what's next for the characters and the story in the God of War series. Well, it looks like we could see some memorable characters from previous games in the next God of War game.
According to Ben Prendergast, the voice actor of Tyr in Ragnarok, we might see more of this mysterious god in future, which is pretty much a tease for the next God of War game, which we know nothing about.
As reported by Shark Games , Prendergast spoke at the PAX 2023 God of War and God of War Ragnarok Retrospective Panel. When discussing his role as Tyr in the second game, he teased the potential sequel by saying: "And I’ll say this, it isn’t the last you’ve seen of Tyr."
It does seem that Prendergast knows a lot more than us mere mortals. He even mentioned that he signed an NDA and knows a little about where the next God of War game will take us.
This is certainly exciting news for all God of War fans, who are hoping to see the series go to Egypt but that's just wishful thinking so don't get your hopes up about the Egypt setting just yet.
While there's no doubt that Sony Santa Monica already know where the next game will go, it will certainly take a while before we find out, as game development is a slow and difficult process. We doubt the next God of War game will come before PlayStation 6 console.
